What ordinary things do you in life that make you feel extraordinary?
The age old adage of ‘the simple things in life are often the best’ is true for me. I feel extraordinary when I take time out from the hectic pace of my life to just be.
Share your tips for finetuning your life?
I am still working on this one. When life feels a little out of tune I think it is important to remind myself that it is my life and I have the right to change my mind and make adjustments. It might involve a reassessment of priorities or giving myself permission to say ‘no’ and reminding myself about what is truly important to me.

all my successes and all my failures and the equal importance of both.
What is missing in your life?
Absolutely nothing.

Full, satisfying and evolving.

An EverReady battery (let’s make it rechargeable)…I just keep going, and going and going!!
What is important to you in life?
Being a present and effective parent.
How do you wish to be remembered?
As a kind person who was a really good mother, wife and friend.
Who are the people in your life who complete you?
I feel complete in my own skin, but I think the people I have surrounded myself with both at home and in the workplace bring out the best in me.
When you head out to the car what do you carry?
My keys, my phone a water bottle and a handbag (full of essentials…it is the equivilant of a childs security blanket!)
What is next on your agenda?
I am determined to print and sort ten years of digital photos.
What do you aspire to achieve or experience?
Financial freedom.
I stand on my soapbox for…
everything. I think it is important to have an opinion. Whether it’s politics, education, health, parenting. I am particularly passionate about children’s issues.
The best lesson I have learnt in life is…
it is short and fragile.
If I knew then what I know now then I would have….
valued my youth.

saying ‘yes’ to everyone for everything.

taking time to look after myself.

Taking it all in my stride, trying not to sweat the small stuff and remembering what is really important to me.
