 When we last spoke with Cat, she was contemplating her already busy life and her fulsome vision board – she had high expectations for herself but was feeling the strain of trying to do it all. In this episode she shares the moment when she reached breaking point and the dramatic action she took to let go of some of those expectations.  Through the Living Savvy web program, we watch Vicky, Cat, Janine and Jane work with Living Savvy life coaches to ask the big questions in life: What I creating? Who completes me? Where am I headed? Cat now runs her own business with husband Keith and together they have two sons aged between one and four. Like most working mums, Cat admits she sometimes struggles with the challenges of keeping up with her responsibilities in the family and the workplace.  Since we last saw Vicky she has bought a new home (which she has been renovating), married her partner Scott and changed careers, and she describes these past months as taking it easy! She’s made some hard decisions… so let’s find out if it’s been worthwhile and if her life really has changed for the better.  Vicky doesn’t seem to let an opportunity pass her by. She is focused on her career, her family and achieving financial independence. But does that mean she hasn’t taken time out to pursue her own dreams? Vicky reveals her secret dream is to pursue a creative project, aside from all the practical concerns and business goals…  Vicky’s worked since she was 11, and has a successful corporate career, as well as having served for 21 years in the airforce and played volleyball for Australia. She’s been married twice, has two daughters and now hopes to grow her family with her new partner. With so much already achieved, what is Vicky looking for in her life? |
