Hi, I’m Jo Bassett… executive and performance coach, team leader and facilitator, wife, mother of two spirited little people, big-time dreamer and idea explorer (with a Masters Degree and PhD research underway).
I founded the living savvy movement to inspire women like you to live your dream life, and to give you the tools you need to make it happen.
Why Living Savvy?
Through my work as a coach, consultant and public speaker, I’ve come to know many fabulous women.
As I listened to their stories, I began to recognise the key characteristics that distinguished those women who were fulfilled, happy and truly successful.
Of course, each story was different – some women were very rich while others lived incredibly simple lives, some had families they loved dearly while others treasured complete independence, some had endured tremendous struggle and loss. But they shared one important trait, an approach to life I call “living savvy”.
What I believe
Success is all about fine tuning… fine tuning the ordinary to achieve the extraordinary in life (and work). It’s not about being ‘perfect’, nor is it about being labelled as ‘broken’ and trying to implement unsustainable life overhauls.
Like so many women from around the world, I know it can be challenging to live savvy, answer the important questions like:
How can we be present for those we love the most, and also pursue our personal dreams?
How can we define our own success and realise our full potential?
How can we create a life that is fulfilling, satisfying and joyful?
How can we do all this without being busy and stressed?
I believe that by living savvy we can create our dream life.
We can live with enthusiasm, flexibility and creativity.
We can celebrate everyday moments and savour each ordinary choice we make to live more consciously and boldly.
That doesn’t mean we get it ‘right’ all the time, but that is part of our journey too.
