Jo Bassett Media Profile
I have a professional background in Occupational Therapy, hold a Masters Degree and am currently undertaking PhD research. I have been coaching for almost 10 years, and when coaching I draw on almost two decades of work with government, non-government, and not for profit organisations in a variety of roles including team leader, facilitator, consultant, coach and educator. I have also held lecturing positions at University of Queensland and Griffith University, and published and presented nationally and internationally.
My current coaching clients are smart, energetic people (predominately women) who have already achieved important goals in their lives, but who aspire to create a life that is more fulfilling, satisfying and joyful.
My coaching focus is about living savvy. This is not about fixing something that is ‘broken’ and it’s not about radically overhauling lives. Instead I help women focus on the choices they are already making, and support them in committing to small changes to their daily life, their habits and mindset which can produce amazing results. This is fine-tuning the ordinary to live extraordinary. I have created the 5 steps to living savvy to guide women in this process: Ask, Do, Discover, Commit, Celebrate.
